Whitbourne Estate is predominantly organic permanent pasture.

Tenants Tim and Lara Roberts graze their herds of traditional Beef Shorthorn, Saler and Hereford cattle alongside flocks of Lleyn and Hampshire sheep.

Cattle are wintered inside and fed on organic forage grown on the farm. Sheep are grazed extensively and overwintered on brassica. They lamb outside in the spring. Finished stock is sold via buyers groups, direct through supermarket contracts and to the onsite restaurant, Green Cow Kitchens.
